Coming up with ideas is (relatively) easy – the difficult part is following up on it. After conceiving an idea, what do you do with it? How do you do the required market research and initial exploration to determine whether an idea should be pursued? Everyone talks about “doing market research”, but we will try to explicitly state what that entails and how to go about it with the help of some exciting examples from both developed and developing markets. In a nutshell, this panel will try to tackle the “what next” of start-ups: what comes after coming up with an idea?
