Adrian Catalan
Founder, Elemental GeeksAdrian has been in software engineering industry for 10 years working as a developer (web/mobile), as a consultant, and as a project manager.
He is an Android Google Developer Expert, Ex-Microsoft MVP (2011/HTML5), GDG Guatemala, JS.gt and NodeBots Guatemala co-organizer. He’s been involved in tech community since 2008 and have been speaker at several events in Latin America with 20+ talks each year about mobile &web development, JavaScript powered robots(NodeBots), entrepreneurship and innovation. Adrian also has helped organizing several conferences and events like FIT (Innovation and Technology Forum), TEDxUFM and Startup Weekend Guatemala.
In 2010 Adrian co-founded the first mobile development studio in Guatemala (Elemental Geeks) and has had the chance to work with several clients including Molinos Modernos, Cervecería Centroamericana, Cementos Progreso, Banco Industrial, Tigo, Banco Agrícola Mercantil, Spectrum and CACIF.
Adrian describes himself as maker, educator, software developer, curious, dreamer and passionate about technology, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and building things.
