Juan de Dios Aguilar is founder and President of Invercorp International, Ltd, a regional investment management company based in Guatemala. Prior to founding Invercorp, Mr. Aguilar, was a trader for Cargill’s Financial Services Group, now known as Black-River Asset Management. At Cargill he led the Trade and Structured Finance division for Central America and the Caribbean, and was responsible for the origination, structuring, and distribution of financial instruments through Cargill’s trade flows to the region.

Mr. Aguilar continues to represent Cargill’s Risk Management Group in Guatemala, and is responsible for introducing and marketing hedging strategies for Cargill’s trading partners. He serves on boards of private companies in the Central American region through Invercorp’s private equity and venture capital investment vehicles. Mr. Aguilar holds an MBA in International finance from University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization Guatemala and founder of Enactus Guatemala. He is also a Fiduciary and member of the Movimiento Civico Nacional (MCN).
